About the Student

Mipha is the 2nd of 5 children and her older sister Chris is also in the program. Both of her parents lack formal employment but they do the best they can, working odd jobs and doing anything possible to put food on the table. As much as they want to see all of their kids in school, the money generally isn’t enough, so they are living by faith, hoping God will open a door when needed. Mipha has been in and out of school because her tuition isn’t being paid on time, so she isn’t making very much progress. This scholarship will allow her to complete the school year.
