About the Student
Dandre currently lives in a small house with his mother and older sister. His mother works hard, but after paying for basic necessities (like food, clothing, and housing), there is very little money left for school expenses. Without the money to consistently pay for school, Dandre is sometimes forced to go for periods of time without attending school. This scholarship will enable him to continue and finish his education uninterrupted. Currently, Dandre’s favorite subject is history, and he hopes to be a police officer when he grows up and finishes school.
