Last summer, we launched our first ever 1-Month Namibia IMMERSION team! This group of adventurers had an incredible experience living in northern Namibia among the Himba people—serving with missionaries, visiting families in their homes, and teaching at a local school. Days were filled with dancing and laughing and Bible stories with children. Evenings were filled with a sky full of stars and deep conversations around the fire. Although this term is shorter than other Immersion opportunities, in some ways it is the most radical because of the language and cultural barriers as well as the rugged living conditions. We need people who are up for the challenge. We're so proud of the team and the way they embraced the unfamiliar. It's moments like these we know made an impact—and we can't wait to see how the next team goes even deeper.
