Why do we exist?

"Experience Mission exists to spread Christ's love by connecting people together from diverse cultures and backgrounds, developing leaders, and assisting those that live in under-developed communities with resources and support to enable them to reach their own communities and actively participate in extending out to the world."

The Need and Opportunity

One of the great injustices in our world is the existence of enormous amounts of both need and inequity. There is a grossly uneven distribution of global wealth, and this provides an excellent opportunity for those who have been blessed with relative prosperity to reach out to those who are less fortunate. Throughout the world, there are many honest, hard-working people who live without adequate shelter, clothing, and/or food because of economic oppression, social turmoil, or any number of causes outside of their control. Many people begin life at a great disadvantage merely because of where they were born.

EM seeks to be an agent of change by partnering with and serving those individuals and communities who find themselves at a disadvantage because of life circumstances. We resolve to be a part of the solution to the needs in the world around us.

Areas of Focus

Our mission can be divided into three areas of focus: Volunteer Mobilization, Leadership Development, and Community Empowerment. These three distinct focuses are inextricably bound and share the common purpose of spreading the love of Christ to a world in need.

Volunteer Mobilization - connecting people together from diverse cultures and backgrounds through acts of service.

Leadership Development - equipping individuals to reach their communities and extend out to their world.

Community Empowerment - assisting those that live in under-developed communities with resources and support to reach their communities and extend out to the world.
